Threads of Remembrance
"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration."~ Nikola Tesla
A shot-by-shot walk through the masterpiece, in Natasha's own words. The themes that live inside it, the materials, the room, the prayers, and the gold thread that holds it all together.
My art journey
Story for this piece.

This was one of my first pieces, created during a time when my whole world was changing. I was rapidly losing weight, struggling to eat, losing my hair, losing parts of my senses and searching for answers.
My senses did a complete summersault and the sound of hearing the freezer buzzing and electric in the tv grinded on me. Loud noises would make me cover my ears and crouch on the floor with my hands over my ears trying to block out the sound.
I remember walking into a restaurant once and the sound of people's knives and forks on the plates had the same effect. It was that bad. I learned to manage by wearing ear defenders and loops. It wasn't ideal but, it was a solution until the doctors could work out what was wrong with me.
After many appointments and tests, I felt unheard and misunderstood. I was referred to a dietician and an eating disorder clinic. It was there, that I found out, I didn't have an eating disorder, I was all signs, symptoms and traits of autism.
Wow, I aligned with relief. Just having that diagnosis helped me understand myself better. I weaned myself off my medication that was treating my ADHD and turned to art. I could express all the colours onto a canvas and then relaxed and quieten the noise. It was in art, I connected with God more and healed in ways I never imagined.
For me personally, art was like, travelling in time with God through painting or quantum painting. I was travelling down roads from God about Leonardo da Vinci, Einstein, E=mc², consciousness, the flower of life, the crucifix, the nails, love, colour, and gold threads. Cosmic energy, it became a conversation between science, faith, creativity, and the human spirit then, my first piece was born. It was a genesis moment.
I express what I see, feel, hear and, so much more, through every brush of a stroke. Art in some ways, was a form of therapy for me. It helped me manage my ADHD, and autism because, I learned how my brain works.
I've often felt that many neurodivergent people aren't broken, they're simply trying to thrive in systems that weren't designed with their minds in mind. It's very much a one-size-doesn't-fit-all system. Then we have schools that push conformity, routine, and one way of thinking, with many autistic people learning through curiosity, movement, creativity, deep focus, and pattern recognition.
For me, art opened up remembrance of how things used to be and how they are now. My art grew from finally giving myself permission to relax, feel and explore differently, instead of believing I had to fit into a 'tick box'.
Creativity is one of the ways I connect with God. Art became the place where I could hear my own heart again and connect with God directly without interference from the outside world. Art is a beautiful place in the world to be.
Others may experience medication difficulty, but my journey led me to weaning and coming off my medication, back to connecting, creating, questioning, and rediscovering the part of myself that feels most alive in God's presence. Art and prayer was the place that felt most alive with God.

The threads that live inside it.
Before the brush, before the gold thread, these were the voices in the room, the minds, the symbols, the words that kept returning to the page.
"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration."
"Learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else."
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious."
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world."
"Where science searched, Love remembered."~ Natasha Nanda
"Every symbol is a thread. Together they remember what words cannot."~ Natasha Nanda
"Between equation and prayer, I found God."~ Natasha Nanda
Start to finish
The masterpiece, shot by shot.
From nothing, to the process, to the piece itself, across four reels, in Natasha's own words.
Shot 01 · Reel · One · The Theme of Leonardo da Vinci
A knock at the door from deliveroo.
Canvas, pencil, rubber, manifestation candle, crystals and a knock at the door from deliveroo. My thoughtful friend sent me these (flowers) as a surprise. How beautiful. My heart, and now art, was filled with gratitude.

Shot 02 · Reel · One · The Theme of Leonardo da Vinci
Canvas, pencil, rubber, candle, crystals, and a knock at the door.
Time for a coffee break, pop the flowers in a vase, place them on the table and continue… God, art, love and now nature to channel with, through art.

Shot 03 · Reel · One · The Theme of Leonardo da Vinci
My zen place, in the comfort of home.
This is my zen place, in the comfort of my home. It's a beautiful, peaceful, warm and fun space we have created. Away from the hustle and bustle of the world and noise. Just me, God and doing what I love, for the people I love, my children, humanity.

Shot 04 · Reel · One · The Theme of Leonardo da Vinci
The room itself became part of the process.
This whole space holds energy. The mirror, the tree, the floor set-up, the softness, the stillness. It all becomes part of the creating. Away from the noise of the world, this is where me and God connect together and let the work unfold.

Shot 05 · Reel · One · The Theme of Leonardo da Vinci
A quiet corner for prayer, symbols and stillness.
Candles, objects, pieces, little markers of the journey. I don't separate life, prayer and art. They all live together in the same room, the same breath, the same moment.
Shot 06 · Reel · One · The Theme of Leonardo da Vinci
The piece, breathing in the room.
Walking the camera through the space where Remembrance was created, the light, the altar, the quiet hum of the room.

Shot 07 · Reel · Two · Chevaliers de Sangreal
Constructed in layers, just like us. Intentional, hidden, meant to be looked beyond.
This piece of art has been constructed and created in layers, just like us. This was intentional. At first glance you may notice colour and texture but, stay a little longer and another layer begins to reveal itself. Then another and another, hidden. Every mark has been placed with intention, inviting you to look beyond the surface. Inspired by God and many other great minds in history like Leonardo da Vinci. Relentless, curious, this artwork explores the idea that knowledge isn't one dimensional. Science meets spirituality, geometry meets nature, light meets shadow, art meets observation and awareness. The artwork doesn't become complete until the viewer becomes part of it. You don't just look at this. You spend time with it. Like meditation for the soul.
Shot 08 · Reel · Two · Chevaliers de Sangreal
Up close with the layers.
A slow pan across the surface, paint, texture, gold and the hidden geometry that only reveals itself when you spend time with it.

Shot 09 · Reel · Two · Chevaliers de Sangreal
The full piece reveals another layer above.
Seen in full, another structure emerges above the main canvas, the cross, the gold, the geometry, the continuation. Each layer asks a different question while quietly offering its own answer. Some layers can be seen, others felt.
Shot 10 · Reel · Two · Chevaliers de Sangreal
Layer upon layer.
Moving across the canvas, the layers begin to speak, colour, then texture, then symbol, then meaning. And, a little bit, of Asmr...

Shot 11 · Reel · Three · Nessun Dorma
Layers of materials, texture and meaning, paint is only the beginning.
My artwork is created through layers, not just with paints, but of materials, texture and meaning. I work with whatever the piece calls for. Paint is only the beginning. Wood, nails and natural materials become part of the story and remind me of Jesus Christ. Some materials build depth, others create movement, others leave marks no traditional paintbrush could ever make. Much like Leonardo da Vinci explored the world through observation, experimentation and an insatiable curiosity, I enjoy discovering how materials interact with one another. Because everything is mass and energy. There are no rules to art, just possibilities.

Shot 12 · Reel · Three · Nessun Dorma
Rose, hourglass, stillness, another layer of feeling.
Even the simplest objects can become part of the story. The rose, the hourglass, the quiet altar space, all of it carries feeling, timing, remembrance and presence. Art is a place where I express what God has placed within me.

Shot 13 · Reel · Three · Nessun Dorma
The process spills out into the room.
A coffee, candles, a rose, maps, objects, fragments, and the work itself on the floor. The room becomes an extension of the piece. The process is not staged, it lives, moves and gathers around me while I create.
Shot 14 · Reel · Three · Nessun Dorma
The piece in its room.
A wider look, the painting living inside its space, surrounded by candles, objects and stillness.

Shot 15 · Reel · Four · Gold thread, stitched with love
Let it dry in nature, surrounded by love and light.
At the heart of this piece is a Gold Merkaba, carefully stitched into the canvas with gold thread. Every stitch was weaved with love, healing and prayers. The gold thread travels through the canvas, connecting what is visible on the surface with what lies beneath. After I have done my art, I like to let it dry in nature, surrounded by love and light. I always send healing love and prayers into it too. The pieces charge up before they ever leave the studio. This piece took a year and a half to complete, because masterpieces can't be rushed.
Shot 16 · Reel · Four · Gold thread, stitched with love
Catching the gold.
The gold thread and Merkaba catching the light. Every stitch was weaved with love, healing and prayers.
Shot 17 · Reel · Four · Gold thread, stitched with love
Glow, under UV.
The hidden codes, stitched and weaved within the art, they glow under UV with the print. What is unseen is still there, always.
