The Vision, Mission & Assignment

My vision is to help build a world rooted in love, truth, compassion, creativity and hope; a world that reflects the Kingdom of God on earth.

Not through perfection.

Not through fear.

Not through having all the answers.

But through ordinary people choosing love, one person, one conversation and one act of kindness at a time.

My mission is to use the gifts God has entrusted to me — through art, storytelling, learning, community and acts of service — to encourage healing, connection and transformation.

Every painting, every book, every journal, every conversation and every project is another brushstroke in a much bigger picture that God is painting.

Some people preach from a pulpit.

I usually preach with paint on my hands, worship music playing, talking to God, and wondering how I've managed to lose the paintbrush that's somehow been in my hand all along.

I've learnt that God doesn't just meet us in cathedrals. Sometimes He meets us in studios, around kitchen tables, in messy moments, and in the middle of a canvas that's nowhere near finished yet.

There's something wonderfully freeing about remembering that following God isn't always solemn.

After all, Jesus went to weddings, shared meals, laughed with friends, welcomed children and used everyday objects in His teaching. My paintbrushes, fingerprints, coffee mugs and glitter are my everyday objects.

God is the one who ultimately brings the new creation into being. I am the vessel God uses to move, work and act and weave through.

I believe God has called me to faithfully create, build, teach, guide, love and serve wherever He leads me. To steward every opportunity with integrity.

To keep learning...

To keep growing...

To keep showing up...

And to help people discover that the Kingdom of God is not something distant to chase, but something Jesus spoke about as beginning within us and flowing out into how we love one another.

I don't believe I'm here to build my kingdom. I believe I'm here to play my part in God's.

God is the One who brings about the new creation. He is the Author. I'm simply one of the many paintbrushes He chooses to pick up from time to time.

Some days He paints with bold colours. Other days with gentle ones. And, yes, occasionally He probably smiles while watching me paint myself as much as the canvas.

Truth be told, that part's usually intentional. Why?

Because somewhere along the way, I realised we don't create our best work by trying to stay neat and tidy. We create it by staying curious.

By playing... By asking questions... By experimenting... By making mistakes... By laughing at ourselves... By keeping the child within us alive.

After all, children don't worry whether they're making a masterpiece. They simply delight in creating one brushstroke at a time.

I think there's something beautifully holy about that. That's the beautiful thing about grace. It doesn't wait for us to be perfect before it starts creating something beautiful.

If my work encourages even one person to love a little deeper, forgive a little sooner, create a little more courageously, or remember that they are deeply loved by God, then every late night, every splash of paint, every lesson learned, every unexpected detour and every colourful fingerprint has been worth it.

This isn't just my story anymore, it's an invitation.

An invitation to create. To imagine. To play. To heal. To learn. To serve. To love. Together.

Because I believe love is still the greatest force for change the world has ever known — and music, because God is my DJ.

Perhaps that's why God gave us paintbrushes and music in the first place? Not just to colour canvases or fill the silence, but to awaken something within us. To remind us that He is still creating and, so are we.

Creation is one of God's greatest gifts. It moves us, shapes us, heals us, brings people together and breathes life into places that once felt empty.

Whether it's through a melody, a brushstroke, a story, a conversation or an act of kindness, every act of creating is an opportunity to reflect the Creator.

So don't be afraid to turn the music up, make a mess, ask questions, stay curious, laugh often and create with your whole heart.

After all, if God can create an entire universe, I think He can cope with a little paint on the floor.

When you invest in this mission, you're supporting the calling God has placed on my heart, and you become part of the story of Rebuilding God's Kingdom, Together as One.

I'm not trying to get rich. In truth, I already feel like one of the richest people alive because I get to walk through life with God's love and presence every single day.

My goal isn't to chase wealth, it's to become the healthiest steward I can be, so I can serve more people with love, wisdom, creativity and compassion.

Every investment — whether it's an original artwork, a book, a journal, a digital resource or a gift — helps me continue creating, learning and growing.

It provides for me and my children, giving us the freedom to build a home and a life filled with creativity, peace, and plenty of room for paint, glitter and the occasional "How on earth did that end up there?" moment.

It also allows me to invest in myself by working with coaches, mentors and talented people whose gifts help me grow. I've learnt that the stronger, healthier and wiser I become, the more I can pour into others.

It's a bit like the safety talk on an aeroplane; you put your own oxygen mask on first, not because you're selfish, but because you're no good to anyone if you've passed out in Row 11.

As this mission grows, so does its impact. Together we'll create more art, more books, more resources, more opportunities, more jobs, more conversations, more healing, and more spaces where people feel seen, valued and loved.

My hope is to build creative spaces, support artists and makers, provide meaningful work where I can, develop resources for grief and healing, and continue learning so I can serve this community with excellence.

I truly believe that when we invest in people, communities flourish.

Above all, I believe love is the greatest investment we can ever make. It has the power to transform lives, restore hope and bring people together. That's the foundation I want to build upon, because I believe that's how God's Kingdom grows and The Kingdom is built, one act of love at a time.
